The picturesque Aberdare National Park is located in the East African Rift Valley region of central Kenya among the Aberdare mountain ranges. This park was established in 1950 and administered by Kenya Wildlife Services. It has a surface area of 766 square kilometers. The park is a section of the Aberdare mountain ranges, rising between 2000 and 4000 meters above sea level. The park’s amazing topography has two distinct eco-systems.
