Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will set off after breakfast and head west of Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take you 6-7 hours. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take memorial photos. You will continue to Mbarara town where you will have lunch before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you go on enroute game drive lodge where you will check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
You will wake up early for breakfast and drive to the park for morning game drive during which you will see Lions, Elephants, Topis, Leopards, Bushbucks, Cape Buffaloes, Defassa Waterbucks, Giant Forest Hogs, Uganda Kobs, among others. After you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon you will go for a two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and view concentrations of giant hippos, elephants, and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds on the water shores. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi
You will have an early breakfast and set off for a game drive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will later travel to Bwindi with sights of the great countryside, bamboo forest, and scenic landscape characteristic of the western rift valley. For lunch, you will stop at a local restaurant enroute. Proceed to the lodge arriving late afternoon, check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla trek and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will have an early morning breakfast and head straight to the park headquarters to join other trackers in a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules at 7:45 am. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to track and guides who will lead you through thick creepers and undergrowth to find the Gorillas. This may take 2-6 hours depending on how far the Gorillas have moved on that particular day. After you have found them, you will be allowed one hour to spend watching them as they feed, play, and care for their young ones. Return to the lodge for late lunch and transfer to lake Bunyonyi arriving in the evening, check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Cross to Rwanda and City tour
Have morning breakfast and after, check out of the lodge and transfer to Rwanda crossing via the Katuna boarder. Upon arrival in Kigali, have a city tour and lunch before proceeding to Volcanoes national park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Optional activities in Volcanoes National Park
You will after breakfast have the option to either go for Gorilla trekking, Golden monkey tracking, or hike to the Dian Fossey Memorial site to pay homage to the lady who spent her entire adult life working towards conserving and habituating the Mountain Gorillas in this forest. For Gorilla trekking you will have to report early in the morning for a briefing on the trekking rules and to be allocated a family of Gorillas to track with the guides. After the trekking, you will return to your hotel for lunch and later transfer to Lake Kivu for relaxation on the beaches. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 7: Travel to Virunga in Congo
You will have an early breakfast and drive to Goma town in the Democratic Republic of Congo. You will have a tour of this city and have lunch after which you will proceed to Virunga National Park. You will have dinner and overnight at the hotel of your booking.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Day 8: Gorilla trek in Virunga and transfer to Kigali
You will have an early breakfast and set off at 6:30 am for a briefing on the Gorilla tracking rules to be observed after which you will be allocated a Gorilla family to track and the guides to lead you in finding them. The tracking may last for 2-5 hours depending on where the Gorilla group you are tracking spent the night the previous day. Upon sighting the gorillas, you will be allowed to stay with them for one hour as you watch them play, feed, groom young ones as well as go about their daily activities. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Departure
Have morning breakfast and check out of the lodge and depart to Kigali for your departure flight.
